Really good frozen yogurt. I have been here several times and have always been happy with the flavor I had. They have so many different toppings from fresh strawberries to Fruity Pebbles. If you are unsure at all they have small sample cups so you can try before you buy. This is important because you will pay by the weight of the cup. The cups are not small either. That can be a good thing or a bad thing.

For me the mango is the best and I tend to put waaaaaaaay more then I need in the cup. I like to top it with the gummy bears. The strawberry is also good but the texture is more like ice cream.....

The machines are self serve and is an easy things for kids to do if they want to participate in making their own cup.

Watch it though, remember pay by weight.

The shop is always clean and the staff is always very friendly. Plenty of parking is also a plus.

I like that there are many very fresh fruit topping options: blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, bursting boba (what is it anyway? they really do burst in your mouth. fun). Today they had cheesecake bites, about half the size of a dice. Numerous other toppings, too many to mention.

I'm addicted to this place.. I love everything about it, the atmosphere, the location, the staff and most of all the flavors. The staff is always really friendly and that's always a plus. They have tables inside and outside so there's always plenty of space available. My favorite flavor is Dulce de leche !!! I haven't been able to find it in any other fro-yo place and it's delish, It goes well with walnuts, chocolate covered almonds and caramel. I also like their original tart, red velvet and strawberry. One of the things I like is that the fro-yo is not watery like in other places and the flavors don't taste artificial.

They also have little cups for you to try the flavors before you choose whatever you like and a frequent buyer punch card :) Diana G. - Austin, TX

While here visiting friends for the weekend, we were taken to this great new self serve yogurt shop in Austin called Yo So Cool.

Was a fantastic experiance from the moment we walked in! The enviroment was fun and relaxing, the choices for toppings was unbelievable and the yogurt itself was the best I have ever had!

I had the Red Velvet Cake yogurt, which I have never seen anywhere before and it was off the dial. The texture of their yogurt is smooth and creamy, not gritty and chalky as others I have had. I asked the owner, Rachel and Henry, about it and they said they only use high quality yogurt that are not made from powder... who knew yogurt was made from a powder???

Rachel and Henry were awesome hosts, as they explained the procedure and all the many choices of toppings. There must have been over 40 toppings to choose from including a Lychee.... WOW was the amazing on yogurt!

It's a shame that this place is so close to my house. I really don't need another addiction! But every week, when my fiance and I would spend our Thai Thursdays at Pad Thai, I would stroll by this merchant's empty store space on the way to my car- wishing, praying, and hoping that this place would finaly open and indulge my frozen yogurt fetish. I took a hiatus from fro-yo days in the 90's, at the height of my glorious tenure as a fro yo chick at TCBY in high school. But thank goodness to Yo So Cool's luscious swirls of red velvet yogurt, garnished with chocolate chip cookie dough, seductive drizzles of Hershey's chocolate syrup, and firm slices of strawberries, my latent desires were unearthed.

They have a great selection of flavors. Such choices include the traditional chocolate and vanilla to the familiar, yet marginally exotic coconut and mango to the rich cake batter and red velvet cake flavors. What's great is that they offer free samples if you're unsure of what to select.

I loved their toppings bar which showcased a wide variety of goodies. There were so many choices, including the oftentimes overlooked lychee and mochi. Aishah A. - Austin, TX

I've lost count of how many frequent buyer cards we've gone through, that's how much we love Yo So Cool! They offer a good variety of flavors. My personal favorite is Dulce De Leche. There seems to be an odd growing trend of frozen yogurt places in San Marcos and I am perfectly okay with it! Yo So Cool is my favorite of the three shops that are here. They have more flavor choices and more toppings than Twist and Shout or Crazy Good and their red velvet is delicious! The staff is also friendly and I like that they have a frequent buyer card!! Yo So Cool is a really great frozen yogurt place in San Marcos. They have a great variety of flavors to choose from. The best part is you can sample the flavors beforehand. The staff is really nice and helpful. Yo So Cool's hours are great. You can eat inside or outside the store.
